Currently enjoying some well deserved time off work haha! Yes i was a clever B**tard and booked the 3 days inbetween all the bank holidays off! Im absolutely loving this weather at the moment, the sunshine puts me in such a good mood. 

Im a big fan of the Easter Period because of all the Rugby League i get to see. I hope the players have all had a well earned couple of days rest after such a tough weekend for all, not only the 2 games over a few days but the heat really takes it out of you and the ground will be solid... Im so looking forward to my Summer League Season starting... haha! Its been quite an interesting weekend in the world of Rugby League, I love it when its so unpredictable like this. It makes it so much more exciting when the games are so close and it could be anyones...

A last minute try to win the game is always a thriller! Brilliant...

...Yes I am still absolutely buzzing from the Wigan win on Good Friday! haha! Games like that just show why Rugby League is the best sport in the world!! The Easter weekend was a brilliant weekend for Wigan, lets hope we can keep on building from here now! Roll on the trip to Wrexham on Sunday.

Well i think il be chilling for the next few days. Just hope the weather stays good! Hope everyone had a good Easter, and i hope youre all enjoying the weather as much as I am!!! =]

I think I'l stick to my odd shaped balls...

As some of you may know I'm not a big fan of football... well thats actually an understatement! I can't bloody stand it!! I think i would rather chew off my own arm than watch that rubbish!! Its just such a boring sport! They're overpaid and overrated! A footballer brakes his toenail and hes sidelined! How many times in a game do you see the invisible sniper get one of them! They need to man up and stop throwing their selves on the floor like pansies!! 

This is how a true sportsman looks...

Andy Farrell... Absolute Legend!! Broken Nose... Its fine just tape it up and get back on! True Sportsman! A man who played for the sport and not for the money! I think the main problem in football has to be the money, they get paid way too much for what they do. These days its all about the sponsorship and making sure they look good, the majority of them dont seem to care about the sport any more! Its all too commercialised! Where's the passion gone...

...This is True Passion! Aww I Love Sam Tomkins! 

Anyways i could go on and on about how much i hate football but it just gets me angry! Haha! Im so glad i watch a real sport ;) Rugby League is the way forward!!

Its nearly theee weekend!! =]

Howdy!! =]

Just a random Thursday night and i thought i may as well have a little blog time seen as I'm sat not doing much... American Idol on in the background whilst i mess about on Twitter and Facebook! Story of my life haa! :)

Well i had a brilliant weekend last weekend which ended like this...

Yes i do realise i posted this picture on my last blog but i just thought id remind you all of how my previous weekend went! haha!

Its looking like i may be in for another cracking one this weekend too(No Pun Intended...) Cant wait!! Another weekend full of Rugby League which is a bonus!! Wigan game tomorrow night which i am super excited about! I always love going to Leeds Away as the atmosphere is always brilliant! Just hope we improve on last week and start playing like we can, last time we played at Leeds this happened...

Great memories!! Come on you Warriors!! Championsss! =D

Also i have my brothers rugby to watch on Saturday afternoon, and then my Womens team have another friendly game on Sunday, should be fun! This is only our second game as a team, its a new team i started a couple of months ago and half the team have never played rugby before. To be honest though im pretty impressed and by the time the season starts im sure we will be great! 

...i think i may have to take things easy though for a while, I had a car crash at the start of January and i have had my Physio Assessment today... My pelvis is out of line, My spine is tight, the muscles down the right side of my back are knotted to hell & I have nerve damage to my knees... So yes im on to a winner!! haha! My body is a temple...

...yeah a temple that has collapsed!! Bloody hell im only 20 for gawd sakee! Im falling apart! haha!!

Anyways i think its time to wrap this up! Dont want to bore the people that made it this far! haha! On a final note its nearly time for the best T.V show ont telly!! CELEBRITY JUICEEE...

Weekend Fancy Dress - Grease/1950s!

Had a great weekend this weekend! Was a shame about the Wigan score but my Saturday night cheered me right up... It was a friends 30th on Saturday and she had a fancy dress grease/1950s themed party!! I forgot to mention in my previous post how much i love Fancy Dress!! Big fan of dressing up! Haha! A group of us rugby girls went together and this is how we started the night off...

The night consisted of plenty of alcohol... Vodka Lime & Lemonade!! =] Followed by plenty of shots, and of course plenty of laughs... especially when the birthday girl brought out some Sumo Suits!! Yea I had to go and jump straight in one...

I dont mind making a fool of myself... if you cant laugh at yourself who can you laugh at...

Il do anything for a bit of a giggle... I think i may be a bad influence though because the night ended like this...

Hahaha!! Us Rugby Girls really know how to have a laugh!! Great weekend surrounded by great people!! Such a funny weekend! Im sure there will be plenty more to come with these lot! haha!!

A Bit Absent...

When i originally decided to join the World of Blogging it was mainly due to Boredom, I managed to write two posts and then i got bored with it... yes i do get bored EXTREMELY easy! When i first joined Facebook and Twitter I didn't bother with them either and now I'm addicted, so iv decided I'm going to have another shot at it and who knows what will come of it! Im going all out, pictures and everything =P haha!

I thought I'd start by introducing my self and talking about some of the things I like and things i dislike, so here goes...

For anyone who doesn't know this is me...

My main passion is Rugby League... by a long shot!! Big Wigan Warriors fan, Season Ticket Holder! Ive been watching Wigan for about 10 years now and i absolutely LOVE IT!!

I also started playing when i was 12 and have been lucky enough to get into the Lancashire Squad 4 years running!  

Unfortunately due to the lack of interest in womens rugby league I have had to move from team to team and have had time out due to teams folding... 

I have just recently started up a new team in my area though and its looking pretty good! So fingers crossed!!

We had a friendly game against the mens team which was a good laugh! 

I do spend most of my free time playing or watching rugby, however i do have other interests! I enjoy drawing too, it seems to relax me when im angry! haha!

I love my holidays, I was certainly born in the wrong country!! The Sunshineeee really makes me tick!!

I love laughter, i am quite a sarcastic b**tard and i absolutely love my banter! I do take the mick the majority of the time...

Obviously i love a good night out on the town! What 20 year old doesn't! haha! =] 

Gotta say i love my friends & family too! They're the best!!

I realise this has turned into quite an essay so im going to cut it short... To sum up I love rugby league, Wigan Warriors, a bit of art, Holidayss - Sun, Sea & Alcohol, LAUGHTER, A good night out on the Town && not to forget my friends and family!! Obviously theres more but i could be here all night! Il have to come back and do a completely new post on my dislikes... could be interesting! haha! =]

World Club Challenge!

Well what an exciting game the World Club Challenge turned out to be! The Wigan Ultras put on a pretty good display with the flags too! Just a shame the Result didn't go our way!

Our boys started off pretty awesome, we couldn't have asked for a better start! But we all knew it wasn't going to be such an easy game! We played some great rugby at times, and again we're looking extremely strong and fit! I think our main problem was lack of experience, the Aussies were Fast and spread the ball about, as expected, and unfortunately our lads got dragged across and sucked in leaving overlaps! Defense wins games, and its a shame ours wasn't quite as strong as its been in previous games! We did fight until the final whistle though, its just unfortunate that someone had to lose! I'm still extremely proud of the effort our lads put in, and i'm sure they will take things from the game and push through the season even stronger!!

Now I'm looking forward to Friday for the next game! Come on Lads!! =] Heads held high, lets storm through the season and get there again next year!! =]

On the rest of the weekends results there were a few shocks!! Its great to see the league is so competitive and anyone could win! I think its going to be a great year for Rugby League and the final stages of the season could be pretty close! By far the best sport in the world in my opinion! Its Exciting!!! =D

Magic Weekend!!

I decided to join the World of blogging!! Boredom was a main reason for this... but also because i like to get my views across, especially for my Love of Rugby League!! So here goes... My first Attempt...Magic Weekend...

Well another Magic Weekend has been and gone and in my opinion still not much of a success... I'v been previous years just for the day Wigan played and this year we went for the full weekend. Overall i had a pretty top weekend!! We stayed in Bridgend from Friday - Monday and had a coach take us to the stadium and back on game days! Not too bad for £130!!

Obviously the weekend doesn't appeal to everyone, some people may not be able to afford it, and some people might just want to watch their own team, and fair enough thats understandable! I don't think this event will ever have the success the RFL are hoping for! To me Seven games of Rugby League over two days is pure bliss!! What can i say iv missed it over the off season and was so happy to have Seven live games to watch in the first weekend!!

Overall the games were pretty good... The only game that was quite poor in my opinion was the Catalan V Harlequins game! The Stadium seemed to empty which meant no atmosphere and the game seemed to go on forever, but apart from that the rest of the games were pretty entertaining! Some of the games could have been improved by better reffing but i'm not going to get into that as i would be here forever! I do believe the overall standard of Refs has been pretty poor for the past couple of years. (Childs - 37 Penalties in a game!! Ridiculous!!) I'd Love for the games to just be allowed to flow... but wouldn't we all!!

Obviously the main issue at the moment is the support and getting people to stay for the whole weekend! Personally i cant see it happening...
